Arrived on site, hospitality was 5 star, had a few beers with gary and sarah, who are a great couple and realy friendly and helpful, nothing was too much to ask, sarah and gary ran us where ever we wanted, l`ampolla is 5 mins away and is a lovely resort with lots of eating and drinking places.
gary is an excellent guide and knows the water very well and did his very best to get us onto the cats using the best tackle and baits, the accommodation was great and imaculate with a seperate wet room and an above ground pool which was great, the conditions for the fishing werent the best but we still found the cats using garys excellent water craft and tactics.
great holiday, highly recomend  to all.

Fantastic fishing, fantastic weather, fantastic people!

Gary and Sarah and their family went Overboard to make me and my 14 yr old son welcome.

Gary had every thing well organized and set up for the fishing and really knows his stuff with these wels catfish.

My son’s first catfish was 103lbs; the look on his face was priceless.

He then had a second at 131lbs. My first cat went at 128lb then a second at 143lb unbelievable fishing.

We finished the three days with a very welcome kitten which rounded off the trip nicely.

Sarah washed our slime ridden clothes and gave me cream for my insect bites.

The hospitality was amazing nothing was too much, lifts to the village, bars, meals ect.

They even got my son some sun glasses (as he left his at home) from the shops.

Highly recommend for anyone looking to go catfishing.

Thank you very much for a fantastic fishing holiday.

We did not know what to expect as we have never been abroad before.

You made us very welcome and we felt part of your family.

You took us anywhere we wanted to go which was great as we didn’t speak the language

and pointed us in the right direction when we went off on are own.

Gary is brilliant at his job, he also gave us a few pointers on how to catfish back home.

Gary is very knowledgeable on the area he fishes. We caught some nice catfish.

Sarah also does a superb pack up for your days out on the boat.

They have both got brilliant personalities also the children do to and make a good team.

Cant wait to come back next year.

Had a great few days fishing with Gary. 
The conditions were far from perfect but his attitude was excellent and made an extreme 
effort to help us catch a cat, which we did on the last evening.

What a great time I have had,

I’m not really a fisherman but came along with my son who is.

With Garys guidance I caught a 95lb catfish on the stunningly beautiful Ebro.

From the moment we landed I was part of Gary and Sarah’s extended family.

I would recommend this experience to any fisherman or like me, some ones who’s best catch as a kid was ounces.

Made really welcome by Gary and Sarah, they cant do enough for you,

so nice you"de think they were from Yorkshire,

no cats on the first two days, but had carp of 18lb + 14lb to me and Joe respectively.

third day had crucians to 3lb plus,  Then bang!! hooked a cat, 176 lb a new

boat record, an incredible fish which made the holiday, nearly pulled Joe overboard

Firstly can i just say a VERY big thank you to Gary, Sarah and the Kids for putting up with us for a whole week (especially for putting up with Shane) We arrived on June the 17th for a week where we where met by Gary our guide and host for the forthcoming week. This would be the first time the any of us had actually been to Spain to fish for the cats and carp but we where all eager and ready for the action.Our plan which we had discussed with all my party and Gary before we arrived ( Phil , Shane, and me John) was to have 4 days at the Cats and 2 days at the carp.  Accommodation was spot on everything you needed even a BBQ and the free welcome pack with beer and wine and all sorts of stuff was a bonus. During the stay both Gary and Sarah would happily take you to the shops or Town and pick you up but to be honest its only a five minute walk. During our stay we took a day out and Gary and sarah drive us to the beach for a swim and a beer.  The fishing  Gary took us all through the safety stuff with the boat and then onto fishing gear, rigs etc that we would be using during our fishing trips. Nice that he took the time to explain how his rigs and tackle worked especially for purely coarse fishing guys like ourselves. We managed to boat four cats during the four day period with the Biggest weighing 130Lb which was caught by Phil (jammy git) and lost count of the runs we had on the cat rods . Had plenty of carp out on the last two days but once again jammy git Phil had the biggest at 28lb. We did have a little £1 sweep stake on the last two days for the biggest Carp and asked Gary to chuck a rod in and join in the action. Have a guess what ................Gary won ( jammy git ).Just to let you know Gary polish that £1 up for next year mate because its going back home with me ha ha ha ha  All in All it was a unforgettable experience that i will be repeating next year with Gary again (just to get that £1 back if nothing else)  Many, Many , Many Thanks again John, Shane, Phil John.Manton@avon.com
